At 52, I’ve been navigating the challenges of hormonal changes along with chronic low back pain, stress, and anxiety. I’ve discovered how to thrive in menopause and beyond by creating sustainable lifestyle habits rooted in wellness, vitality, and intention.
My journey informs everything I share, giving you relatable, practical tools to help you achieve the same. Together, we’ll explore how to optimize your movement, sleep, nutrition, and mindset for lasting vitality.
As a multidisciplinary practitioner with over 25 years of experience, I aim to empower women to manage their healthspan by guiding them, not dictating what they should do. I offer a holistic approach in a nonjudgmental, information based, no-BS environment where women feel comfortable and seen.

Your retreat days will be thoughtfully structured with morning meditations, movement sessions by the ocean, and evening practices aimed at preparing you for restful sleep, setting you on a path of sustained wellness. Your arrival day Step into Hotel Basalto and let the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean welcome you. The gentle rustle of palm trees, the mist of ocean waves, and the warmth of the Mexican sunshine all around create a sense of calm that makes you feel grounded and at home. After some time to rest and settle in, we’ll gather for an opening circle to meet the incredible women sharing this journey with you. A short, gentle practice will help you release tension from travel before we set intentions and enjoy a relaxed dinner together. Morning Routines for Resilience Each day begins with a morning meditation—whether on the beach, in a private cove, or from the rooftop pool with breathtaking views of the ocean and mountains. These meditative moments ground you in mindfulness, helping you ground yourself and cultivate a calm, centered start to the day. Following meditation, enjoy a Melt Method hand or foot treatment to hydrate your fascia and prepare your body for a 60–90-minute Movement session - Yoga, pilates, functional fitness. For those who want it a playful Jump session or an invigorating hike to Monkey Mountain. The time after lunch is yours to unwind and reconnect with what truly brings you joy and energy – wander along the beach, a massage, journal, relax by the pool or sign up for a private session with Shelly. Late afternoon are dedicated to enriching, soothing, grounding sessions that refine wellness practices to reset your nervous system and calm your body, mind and soul. You will experience Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, Breathwork, Vagus Nerve and Parasympathetic system tone techniques that will allow you to exhale and let go of worry and mind chatter. End your day with a soothing Sleep session - Learn sleep hygiene and decelerate to sleep techniques you will love to practice and will set you up for a night of deep, restorative sleep. A good night sleep is the most powerful wellness and longevity tool you will ever harness.
